Advising Information

The Behavioral Science and Health Advising Office is available to all current and prospective students of Behavioral Science and Health. This includes students from other institutions thinking about transferring to the U of U. It is my job to help you plot your course to graduation in the most efficient and quickest way possible. I cannot register for you but I can help you navigate the University's rules and regulations thereby helping you to graduate on time and with the least amount of stress possible. Your education should be fun and enjoyable.

I am one of your best resources on campus. However, I'm not a guarantee. You are the only one responsible for your graduation. It is expected that you do your best to familiarize yourself with University and department requirements, see me regularly, and follow through with your academic plan. I do my best to look out for any possible academic hazards and to know the U's rules and regulations.

Each student is encouraged to visit with me at least once per academic year to ensure that you are on the most appropriate track to graduation. Students should apply for graduation and meet with the advisor TWO semesters prior to the anticipated graduation date. For example; students wishing to graduate at the end of Spring Semester should apply for graduation by mid-September the previous Fall.
